RE-CON
A downloadable re-con for Windows and macOS
RE-CON is a puzzle game where you re-connect broken mechanisms using magical Rune Links. Connect two objects, transform one, and watch the other change with it. Restore the portal network and escape the collapsing dungeon before the timeline breaks.
You goal is to CONNECT ('x' button) objects and cast a spell on one of them -> get unlocked and proceed until you find the portal to escape.
This is my very first gamejam, and it was especially hard to get it done.
You can play the game and finish, I did not implement enemy combat yet (they try to attack, but no dammage is done). I also did not finish UI widgets, in-game information on how to play it). I wanted to submit a playable game on-time with the focus on Connecting objects to unlock the next section in the level.
My appreciation for everyone testing and voting!!!

I'm not sure what to do. Is this for a gamejam?
Yes indeed, it's for Gamedev.TV's gamejam 2026.
I did not have time left to add some information on what to do, but I will update it (after the jam).
